Hystrectomy

A vaginal hysterectomy is a surgical procedure to remove the uterus from the vagina. In a vaginal hysterectomy, the surgeon separates the uterus from the ovaries, fallopian tubes, upper vagina, and the blood vessels and connective tissue that support them, before removing the uterus.
